Our Short History
HOW IT ALL STARTED...
Our founders all share one thing in common. They recognise the challenge of trying to find a balance between “eating well” and busy office work schedules.
With backgrounds in both marketing and finance, Andrea Bethell and Roddy Dilasser teamed up with Chef Ian Kendrew to create a food menu that offers busy working people food that is deliciously tasty and naturally good.
Working closely with professional food nutritionist Roz Witney, the team have developed a food range that satisfies the energy needs of a busy working day, without those post eating guilty-feelings.
With an emphasis on naturally good, the team have moved away from sandwiches and savouries, and created a delicious range of pots, soups, wraps, salads and treats, each chosen for its specific “feel-good” benefits, whether it’s one of your five a day or simply containing no refined sugar, additives or preservatives.
Of course, busy workers need somewhere to go to re-fuel, and that’s where HIVE’s new City based riverside location on Whitehall Road is perfectly placed to welcome those who really value naturally good food.
There’s even a bar that serves a fine selection of drinks, including Slingsby’s Rhubarb Gin - just the tonic for that long day at the office!
